Dr. Don Collins received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1994 and his Ph.D from California Institute of Technology in 2000. Prior to joining UCR, Dr. Collins was a Professor in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences and the Director of the Center for Atmospheric Chemistry and the Environment at Texas A&M University. His research interests focus on the properties and effects of atmospheric aerosols, on a regional and global scale.
